I was just telling you yesterday that some governmental organisations are now using Facebook to promote their different initiatives.
In my previous post What Australian Businesses and Government are doing this week on Facebook I said that the Department of Immigration is looking for graduates at the social network.
Today, the NSW government is launching a campaign called: Moved into a new you that intends to move people into a smaller town in the city. It is very interesting the way the webpage is designed and although it hasn’t achieved a high rank in Google, it seems that the NSW page is becoming popular (I checked and it has a 15,976 Alexa Ranking).
I think they could do better by creating a FB page (I searched for one and I couldn’t find one) to take advantage of the viral properties of the social network.
