It looks like Competitions on Facebook get you the likes.

Last July I got a print screen of Baker’s Delight Facebook Page where you were invited to create a pizza and win $5,000 dollars.

Less than a year later the Australian Bakery shop has gone from 29,703 likes to 78,800.
Today they have a different campaign. The Aussie bakery has a fundraising campaign in place.
Bundraising for kids: $1 for every 6 pack of hot cruss buns
I don’t believe this is a completely Facebook Marketing Strategy. I think it is a combined strategy to increase sales for easter.
I have observed that fundraising has become a trend on FB. Energizer also has a campaign currently running on the social network.
